It is a scam...do not believe anything about what the caller states to you. Simply report the phone number as fraudulent to your local authorities, phone company and on the IRS website. This is probably an offshore operation looking for funds.
They may be looking from a database of recent US Citizens who was naturalized.
Do not call back. The IRS does not sue people, they send you letters explaining your issues.

they called me 12/12/14. Computerized voice message said the IRS had filled a lawsuit against me and to call this number immediately. Of course they never mentioned my name. I think I\'ll wait for the written notice.

I got a call saying they were the IRS and they were filing a law suit against me. This is my final notice and to call 202-580-8423. I believe it\\\'s a scam!
I know the IRS will send you a letter if they have a case against you. So unless I hear from the IRS through the mail, I will ignore this call.
